The criteria for admission into the B.Sc. Banking and Finance programme of MOUAU are as follows:
Candidates for admission into the four year B.Sc. Banking and Finance Programme through UME should, possess credit passes in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and Economics, obtained at not more than two sittings in the SSCE, GCE, NECO or any equivalent certificate examinations.
DIRECT ENTRY MODE:
Candidates for admission into the B.Sc. Banking and Finance Programme through Direct Entry Mode should in addition to satisfying the conditions specified under UME mode, possess any of the following:
(i) OND in Banking and Finance with at least upper credit grade to qualify for consideration into 200 level. Candidates with lower credit may be admitted into 100 level.
(ii) HND in Banking and Finance with at least upper credit grade to qualify for consideration into 300 level. Candidates with lower credit may be admitted at 200 level
(iii) Final certificates of recognized Professional Banking Bodies to qualify for consideration into 300 level, provided that non-holders of OND/HND shall register and pass all relevant University General Study Courses in line with regulations specified in the students’ information handbook and formerly clarified/determined by the Departmental Board.
All Banking and Finance students are required to fully abide by all the regulations/guideline of the University as contained in the students’ information handbook, including guideline on conduct of examinations, Course Registration and Evaluation, Grading and Scoring System, Conditions for graduation, and students’ discipline.
