The Department of entrepreneurial studies took off in June 2011 under the able leadership of Dr.(Mrs) Njoku M.S. the former Dean of college of agribusiness and financial management. The department is doing well under the However, The new Dean, prof. J. C. Ihemeje under the new college has tremendously contributed to the present status of the department.
The Department now has a substantive Head of Department, in the person of Dr. (Mrs) ONYEBU, M.C. and 14 other academic and 4 non-academic staff. The department has a total of 160 students, this include 60 year one and 100 year two students. The Department offers Bachelor in Entrepreneurial studies.
The underlying philosophy of the department of Entrepreneurial Studies is to engender Entrepreneurial spirit, the right perspective to wealth creation and to train/equip students with the desired knowledge to master the right tools, techniques and methods which will empower them to create wealth, be self-reliant and the employers of labour.
